Register Rewards at Wal-mart???

Walmart just came out with a new coupon policy I posted this week!  Couponing just got better, because now they will price match any competitior, give money back on coupons, or add to the total amount of the trip if a coupon exceeds the price of the item, say I bought a toothbrush for 1.99 and I have a 3.00 off coupon, i can use all 3.00!! it will take the extra 1.00 of my whole total or cash back if that's all you are buying! but the BEST things is now we can use out Register Rewards from Walgreens, as it meets the requirements of a manufacture coupon!
Here’s a quote directly from the new coupon policy says…

We gladly accept the following coupons: Checkout Coupons (also called “Catalinas) that are printed at our competitors registers, have “Manufacturer Coupons” with specific requirements printed on them, a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date and a scannable bar code.

The Register Rewardss says MQ, the requirements for redemption are on the back of the RR, it’s got a remit address, a valid expiration date and a scannable bar code.

I will keep you posted when I try to do this deal at walmart!!

Ebates.com A good place to earn money when shopping online!

When I shop online at places like ebay, Target, Old Navy and hundreds of other places I go through Ebates.com. Each store gives you back a percentage of what you spend then Ebates pays you back!

I highly recommend checking them out and signing up and everytime you shop online, go through them for cash back!

Coupons.com virus reports-Heads up!!

There is a lot of chatter on the deal sites right now about a possible computer virus on coupons.com. Many people are reporting that while using coupons.com, a new browser window or pop-up appears and indicates it is AVG anti-virus software. The real AVG software is a legit anti-virus sofware BUT this is not the real thing. It appears to be a virus pretending to be anti-virus software so you will click on it. It then instructs you to scan your computer by clicking the button on the screen. DO NOT click the button. Once the button is clicked the virus is "unleashed" and it is causing a number of problems for people. This morning, I received an e-mail from a Smart Shopper who thinks her computer was infected while searching for coupons on coupons.com a couple days ago.
What to do: Obviously, you should not click on anything or download anything that is suspicious no matter what website you are searching. If you think you have been attacked, run a virus scan through your legit anti-virus software immediately. Make sure your anti-virus software is up to date. We use Kaspersky Internet Security and have had no problems with coupons.com, even though I have printed coupons.com coupons a number of times in the last 3 days. I just printed a number of good coupons from the site a few minutes ago (including a .75/1 Chex cereal coupon and .75/1 Muir Glen coupon) with no issues.
